Birmingham Diamond League

The Müller Grand Prix in Birmingham will be one of the highlights of the 2018 outdoor season as the prestigious 14-part IAAF Diamond League series builds to its two finals in Zurich and Brussels.

Part of the global IAAF Diamond League series, the event at the Alexander Stadium will attract the biggest names in athletics from across the globe, with the meeting in Birmingham serving as the final opportunity for athletes to bank all-important points in order to confirm their spot at the aforementioned finals

In 2016 Sir Mo Farah gave the crowd the grand finale they craved as he broke David Moorcroft's 34 year old British record to send them into raptures, while 2017's meeting will live long in the memory thanks to Mutaz Essa Barshim's stunning clearance at 2.40m, a jump which claimed the meeting record.

Overall a unforgettable Diamond League meeting played host to one world lead, two meeting records and two national records.
